You recently lost someone you love.
Everywhere you look you see reminders of them.
You expect them to be there in the morning.
You expect to be able to call them up on the phone.
And then it hits you that they’re not there anymore.
That’s when the sadness comes.
Understand that grief is a non-linear process.
The feelings of grief will arise sometimes and not other times.
Work with the grief when it arises rather than fighting against it.
Take care of yourself while you’re experiencing grief. When you’re in the midst of it, giving yourself the care you need can be tough to remember.
