Often when you’re angry, you probably say things you later regret. Internally, the space seems really limited because all you think about is the anger. You feel disconnected from your loved ones and unsure how to deal with the anger in a healthy way. Even if you take space to cool off, chances are you still feel disconnected.
Anger happens because your boundaries have been violated and your needs are going unmet. Anger gets resolved when you know how to maintain healthy boundaries and ask for what you want. Anger also happens when you take things personally. You make it about you. As a result, you feel hurt and the anger is covering over that hurt.
I help you learn how to work with the anger, as well as your other emotions, rather than fighting against them. We identify the root cause of the anger than give you the tools to think, feel, and show up differently. I help you learn how to create healthy boundaries, ask for what you want, get your needs met, and take things less personally. All of these things help you feel better, more relaxed, more spacious inside, feel less angry, and stay connected with the people you care about.
