What is Online Therapy?
Online therapy is therapy that takes place securely over the internet in the comfort of your home.
I work with you to help you resolve any discomfort you may experiencing and to move forward toward your goals.
Online therapy works very similarly to in-person therapy. We start by getting a sense of what’s going on and what’s keeping you from living your life the way you’d like. Then we get a sense of how you want to feel and how you want your life to look.
Once we have a sense of those things, then we give you new tools and perspectives to get you there. We also support you in looking inward to create a deep, lasting impact.
We usually use Zoom, which has some benefits that in-person therapy does not. In addition to receiving therapy in your home, Zoom makes it easier to share tools and resources you can access online to support the things we’re working on in therapy. It also has a whiteboard which allows me to break down concepts and share how different issues you’re dealing with may be connected.
Online therapy offers you the freedom to talk to a therapist whenever you want to and where you want to.
You can get your therapy done at your own pace.
Online therapy also offers you the chance to learn the skills that can improve your life.

Finding the Right Online Therapist
It is important for you to have a therapist that is experienced with online therapy, who has a background in this area, and a therapist that has the necessary credentials to provide these services.
We meet all of these requirements.
There are a lot of myths and misconceptions about the legitimacy of online therapy. While many therapists are now offering their services online, most people are still skeptical about whether or not online therapy is a legitimate service.
In a recent study, the researchers from the University of Colorado Boulder found that online therapy is as effective as in-person therapy. In fact, it’s even better because of the convenience and accessibility that online therapy provides.
Not having to leave the house at a time that suits you
Being able to talk to a therapist that you’ve built a rapport with
Being able to access therapy services that may not be available in your area
Being able to talk about things that you might not feel comfortable talking about in person
Get the tools and support you need to feel better, move forward, and live the life you want.
