Sliding scale from $100 to $150 per 50 minute therapy session

I do not accept insurance at this time.

Here are a couple of reasons for that:

  1. Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis. Not everyone benefits from being diagnosed. Not everyone has an actual diagnosis. Many people benefit from therapy without treating a specific mental health “disorder,” but instead from other aspects of therapy like self-exploration and improving the depth of their relationships and connection with others.
  2. Insurance also often dictates the length of treatment based on a particular disorder. This can be limiting in terms of our ability to create real, lasting change.

Instead, we can determine together the length and most effective approaches for working together.

Yes, payment is due at the time of each session.

To make this easier, clients can leave a credit card “on file” (securely and confidentially) that allows for automatic payment after each session.

An appointment  means that specific time is reserved for you. Late arrivals cannot be offered extra time, as it is reserved for someone else. If you arrive late, you will be charged the full fee for the shortened session.

If you must cancel an appointment, please do so more than 48 hours in advance. If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be billed the full amount of the session to be paid by the end of the next session.

Please notify me as soon as possible if you know you need to re-schedule or cancel. If a request is made to re-schedule, I will do my best to accommodate. If a re-schedule is not made the same week, the cancellation fee will apply, to be paid by the end of the next session.
